Julia Josephson
Hello! My name is Julia Josephson, a senior at Francis W. Parker, and I am beyond honored and excited to serve as the Secretary-General of FWPMUN IX.
While I hold this title, this conference wouldn’t be made possible without the incredible team of 60+ Parker students who I am so grateful to work with day-to-day. That is one of the greatest parts of FWPMUN: the community built along the way.
I look forward to FWPMUN every year; it's a day where collaboration thrives and I have the opportunity to participate in my favorite activity, Model UN. I’ve been involved in Model UN since I entered high school, and have attended numerous local, domestic, and international conferences. Meeting people from everywhere, I have gained a global perspective and a deep appreciation for the peacemakers and leaders of our world.
Of course, I enjoy other activities as well. I play field hockey, have a food blog, participate in my school's Student Government, and spend time with my friends, family, and two dogs.
As a senior, this is my fourth and final FWPMUN. In past years, I have served as a Head Chair for UN Women and USG-Admin.
FWPMUN is all about building and expanding relationships, skills, and community. It’s a day of growth, trying something new, and experiencing something different. This conference is immensely special, and I cannot wait to share it with you.
See you all on February 1 at Clark and Webster! Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions.
