Devein Weiss
My name is Dev Weiss, a sophomore at the Francis W. Parker School. I have participated in Model UN since sixth grade, and am thrilled to serve as a chair of FWPMUN this year. At Parker, I serve as a student representative on the school’s Board of Trustees, and actively participate in Investment Club, Scholastic Bowl, as well as on the robotics, basketball, and tennis teams. My primary interest is violin. In addition to participating in Parker’s orchestra, I am currently concertmaster of the advanced orchestra and a member of a five-musician chamber group through DePaul University's Community Music Division. I also volunteer in the community as a member of the student board for Urban Initiatives, a nonprofit organization that leverages the “power of play” to empower students from under-resourced Chicago public schools to achieve academic success and develop critical social-emotional skills.
